THINK, PRAY, AND ACT AT THE INTERSECTION OF FAITH AND POLITICS

Unique From Day One

On the 46th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, My Faith Votes gathered alongside hundreds of thousands of pro-life supporters in Washington DC to stand for life. We marched down Constitution Avenue to the steps of the Supreme Court armed with a new approach to the anti-abortion movement -- pro-life is pro-science.

SCOTUS Watch | July 13, 2021

The Supreme Court saved some of its biggest decisions for the end of its term. We read through the decisions on their June and July docket and have highlighted some of the most important ones for you to be aware of. These decisions impact issues of religious freedom, freedom of speech, voting rights, and the Affordable Care Act.

90 Million Christians

There are 90 million Christians in America, but as many as 25 million fail to vote in the Presidential cycle. As many as 72 million do not vote in local elections. We’re determined to change that.

"My goal is simple - to see every single Christian in America show up for every single election to make their voices heard. It's time for people of faith to step up to the plate and lead our nation."

Mike Huckabee, My Faith Votes Honorary National Chairman

“What I love about My Faith Votes is that it helps people to recognize that being a person of faith does not delete the responsibility to take part in the society in which you’re living.”

Dr. Ben Carson, My Faith Votes Founding Honorary Chairman

"“In an election year, part of your Christianity is going to the voting booth and making a selection. It is our right as Americans, and it is our sacred responsibility as Christians.”

Double tap this post if you love this hymn too. During this second week of Advent, the central theme is “peace,” often represented by the second candle which is called the peace candle. This candle signifies that Jesus is the “Prince of Peace” and his coming brings peace to the world. Today we pray that as you see these lyrics to the hymn O Come, O Come, Emmanuel we invite you to reflect upon God’s presence in our lives, not just during this Christmas but every day. And the peace that the Lord brings. #SundayHymn #Advent

Do you think this should happen here in all 50 states too? The social media companies affected by this law have one year to settle on how they will enforce this ban on their platforms. Should they fail to enforce the ban, they face potentially hefty fines from the Australian government. As of this summer, almost a dozen states here in the US had passed laws restricting minor’s use of social media to varying degrees, and more states are considering such legislation. Could Australia’s decision be a catalyst for the passage of a similar law on the federal level? Time will tell. #praythinkact #myfaithvotes #socialmediateens #socialmediaban #australianban
